Through creative workshops, reflective practices, and thoughtful offerings, bonsai.etc creates space to reconnect with yourself, your creativity, and what truly aligns to the individuals unique, mindful and authentic life path.
bonsai philosophy
The bonsai is a spiritual symbol of conscious growth, authenticity, and presence. It teaches that expansion doesn’t require excess, that wholeness comes from being true to your nature, and that growth unfolds slowly through patience, balance, and care. Rooted yet evolving, the bonsai reminds us that becoming is a gentle, intentional process shaped in relationship with life itself.

bonsai.etc grew out of my experience navigating life as a creative entrepreneur, building and sustaining a creative career alongside everyday working life.
Over many years working across performance, storytelling, and creative practice, I’ve learned that growth is rarely fast or linear, and that trying to force it often leads to disconnection rather than progress.
Growing up as the only girl with five bustling sporty brothers for the most part on Australia’s NSW Mid North Coast, I learned the subtle balance of yin and yang, how energies of softness, nature, creativity, momentum, intuition and direction, can work together in harmony.
A lifelong family nickname (“bonsai”) and my devotion to creative expression naturally aligned with the ethos of the Japanese art of bonsai, the practice of expansion within life’s limits, of growing, shaping, and evolving while remaining rooted in one place.
I spent the last ten years travelling, twisting, turning, and seeking something that needed time to grow into where life wants me to be. Turning stones one by one, leading me to where I am today.
bonsai.etc is grounded in the belief that creativity and wellbeing don’t require constant reinvention or escape, but can be integrated into daily life in a way that is realistic, steady, and sustainable.
Through workshops, mentoring, and reflective practices, my aim is to create space and offer guidance, practices, tools, and resources that support balance between softness and momentum, intuition and direction, and help cultivate a nourishing, authentically inspired life and uniquely creative life.
