Bonnie Caine is a Creative Guide & Wellbeing Mentor, an Australian-born actor, creator, and storyteller based between Sydney and Northern NSW, working across performance, voice, film, theatre, and creative wellbeing.

Her practice spans acting, improvisation, voiceover, writing, directing, hosting, modelling, and facilitation, grounded in a deep respect for storytelling and authentic human expression. Bonnie is drawn to the beauty of the ordinary and the moments in between, creating work that feels lived-in, truthful, and quietly powerful.

With nearly 20 years of professional training, Bonnie began her professional training in 2005 in the selected Young Actor’s Program at National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), developing her craft over the following years at Improv Theatre Sydney, The Sydney Actors Ensemble, SAE Creative Media Institute, AMAW Scene Study, and Second City Toronto, where she completed Longform Improv Fundamentals. This training allows her to move fluidly between structured performance and intuitive, improvisational work.

Her screen and stage credits include award-winning theatre, short films, immersive theatre, and comedy projects.

Bonnie has appeared in commercial campaigns for KFC (Christmas in July), Contiki, and mycar Tyre & Auto  She was also a trial cast member for ITV Studios’ I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.

Notable roles include Sue in Bangalow Theatre Companie’s award-winning theatre show The Beast, Binka in Lexee Gourdon’s war drama Sasha’s Game, and Miss Penny in Toronto’s immersive speakeasy experience Many Happy Returns. Bonnie also stars as Cheryl, one of the engaging leads in the short heist film Strange Attractor, which premiered at the Byron Bay International Film Festival. Due to popular demand, she was subsequently cast as Cheryl in the spin-off project Average Times, which is set to commence its festival run.

Alongside acting, Bonnie hones talent in voiceover, narration, and character performance, known for her distinctive vocal tone, strong script analysis, character work, and improvisational agility. Her experience also includes fit modelling, brand collaborations, event hosting, promotions, and live performance.

As a creator and facilitator, Bonnie writes, directs, and produces original projects and supports fellow creatives through mentoring, workshops, and one-on-one guidance. Her work centres on nurturing authentic expression, creative confidence, and sustainable creative lives.

At the core of Bonnie’s practice is a belief in creativity that is human, honest, and nourishing, rooted in presence, curiosity, and care rather than urgency or perfection.

Bonnie loves people deeply, their stories, humour, tenderness, and contradictions, and equally treasures disappearing into her own creative calm.

Her grounded Taurus nature shows up in her love of slowness, cosy rituals, thoughtful process, and allowing ideas to ripen rather than perform.

At the heart of all her work is a commitment to creativity that feels human, honest, and nourishing. A belief that creative expression doesn’t need to be rushed or perfected to be meaningful. That presence, curiosity, and care are where the most resonant work begins.
